Everything you need to plan a stress-free catering order.
How far in advance do I need to place a catering order?
We ask for a minimum of 48 hours advance notice for most catering orders. For larger events (50+ guests), we recommend reaching out at least 1 week in advance.
Are you available on weekends and holidays?
Yes. We cater 7 days a week, including holidays.
What is your service area for delivery?
We deliver throughout Brooklyn, and most of Manhattan and Queens.
Do you offer pickup?
Yes, pickup is always available from our Williamsburg, Brooklyn location. We'll confirm a pickup time window when your order is confirmed. Please plan for someone to arrive on time, as large catering orders cannot be held indefinitely after the ready time.
Can you accommodate last-minute orders?
We do our best, but cannot guarantee availability for orders placed fewer than 48 hours out. If you have an urgent need, email catering@piesnthighs.com directly and we'll let you know what's possible.
What's on the catering menu?
Our catering menu features our signature fried chicken, sandwiches, biscuits, mac and cheese, collard greens, coleslaw, pies, donuts, and seasonal sides. We offer trays, platters, and family-style options suited for groups of all sizes.
Do you offer vegetarian or vegan options?
Yes. We offer a classic Veggie Chik'n Biscuit Sandwich and a Big Salad with fresh greens. Our sides — including Mac and Cheese, Coleslaw, and Arugula Salad — are also popular vegetarian choices.
Can you accommodate gluten-free or other dietary restrictions?
The following items are gluten free: Spicy Black Eyed Pea Salad, Arugula Salad, Smoked Pork Collard Greens, Catfish, Burnt End Baked Beans, French Fries, and Mashed Potatoes. Our kitchen is not gluten-free certified, so cross-contamination cannot be ruled out.
Can the menu be customized for my event?
We have a set catering menu, but we do work with clients on quantities, combinations, and presentation for larger events. Custom menu requests (items not on our standard menu) are generally not available, but don't hesitate to ask at catering@piesnthighs.com.
Do you require a deposit?
No, we require full payment at the time the order is placed.
What does delivery include?
Standard delivery includes drop-off of food in disposable containers. We deliver to a ground-floor entrance or lobby. Delivery to upper floors may require additional coordination.
Do you provide serving equipment?
Our catering orders are delivered in single-serve, disposable trays and containers. Utensils are available on request.
Do you provide on-site staff?
For select events, we can provide staff for setup, service, and breakdown. Staffing is an additional cost and must be arranged in advance. Most of our catering orders are drop-off, and clients handle their own serving and breakdown.
What time will you arrive for delivery or drop-off?
We'll confirm a delivery window when your order is finalized. We typically provide a 30-minute arrival window. If your event has a hard start time, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. We ask that someone be on site to receive the order.
Can you drop off the food at a venue I'm renting?
Yes. We deliver to homes, offices, event spaces, film sets, and other venues throughout our delivery area.
